01Biography
Updated Oct 2026
Zurich-based arbitrator in physical commodity trading: metals, coal and the financing around them.
Marcus spent a decade as in-house counsel at a Zug-based metals trading house before returning to private practice and, from 2015, to full-time arbitral work. He knows the trade from the inside: offtake agreements, pricing periods, quality claims and the letters of credit behind them.
He sits mostly under the Swiss Rules and the ICC Rules and prefers hearings in person.
